In mid July yet another of our favorite Mortal Instruments characters were cast — Simon! Irish actor Robert Sheehan has been cast as the goofy and loveable best friend of Clary.
To be honest, I don’t see it. I have been a fan of and read these books since the very beginning, and this is NOT how I pictured Simon at all.
I couldn’t tell you how he was described originally because it’s been quite a while since I’ve read the first book, but I’ve always pictured Simon with more light brown hair. I could be totally off, but that’s just what he looked like for me.
I don’t know, I just pictured him more boyish and cute but a little more goofy-looking, ya know? I suppose sort of like Kristopher Turner (see the picture on the right).
